It has been more than 55 years since Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. It can seem as if no progress has been made and, in fact, there have been some large steps backwards. What can we as individuals, the church, or the greater community do to reach the dream. As individuals, we need to consider doing some deep, internal work to unlearn behaviors that have been ingrained in all of us from the moment we were born. In doing this work, we are embracing the values and principles of our faith.
