Last Friday, UUHP celebrated the life of Chick Aitchison, founder and long time volunteer at the Friday Supper. Reggie built a little library out of donated funds from the Aitchison family. Also, just as in the days when Chick brought a stack of pizzas Friday nights, Domino’s Pizza donated 25 pizzas to the Supper. Chick’s family and volunteers from that era attended.

The UUs Helping People Subcommittee advocates for the rights of those who are homeless in South Pinellas County. Our members continue to be on the front line of homeless issues with outreach, political action, and support to local agencies.

Join us every Friday, from 5:00 – 6:30pm, feeding those in need. Leaders of Celebrate Outreach lead this initiative. Reach out to give hours in helping build Tiny Homes for Vets right here in our beloved Pinellas County. There are many ways to be involved in our social justice initiative.
