Religious Education

Children's Religious Education

We provide children, youth, and young adults opportunities to explore, reflect, and learn in a nurturing spiritual community. Unitarian Universalist religious education programs offer all ages, inspiring:

Ethical growth – internalizing enduring values like justice, equity, and compassion, and gaining tools to act on them in everyday life.

Social growth – connecting with peers and people of all ages on a deeper level. Finding acceptance among people who see beyond the superficial.

Spiritual growth – feeling a connection with the sacred within, among, and beyond us.

Young Adult Ministry

Partnered with Family Resources, we have a Free Teen Program available for ages 14-18 to assist in learning some ways to have safe relationships.

We also have space that is dedicated to supporting emergent young adults, ages 18-24, who are navigating the transition from adolescence to adulthood. This stage, defined by the Unitarian Universalist Association as "emergent adulthood," is a unique and dynamic period marked by exploration, self-discovery, and the establishment of one's identity and values.

We recognize that the needs of young adults are diverse and evolving. Our ministry is currently a work in progress, and we are excited to expand our offerings in the spring of 2025. As we build this community, we seek to create a space that is safe, inclusive, and loving—a place where young adults can connect, grow, and support one another. Internships and Community service hours are available!

This approach encourages the essential elements of personal and collective growth:
