St. Petersburg, FL — Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, & Mary loves David Roth, and we’re sure you’ll soon love him too. Award-winning singer-songwriter David Roth announces a Saturday, Jan 21, 2023, 7 pm concert in St. Petersburg, FL, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg (UUSP) at 100 Mirror Lake. Recently in local news for serving as a cold night shelter during December’s cold snap, the Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg is able to continue its vital community work due to fundraisers like David Roth’s inspiring concert. “It’s been great to attend a progressive and pluralistic religious community that continues to invite all of our community to be present, whether for Sunday services, meals, or concerts,” said Todd Wellman of Gulfport, a UUSP member, and an active church volunteer.
Of award-winning singer-songwriter David Roth, author Jack Canfield says, “David and his music will touch you to the very depths of your soul. He’ll make you laugh and cry, inspire you to rise and fly.” As singer, songwriter, recording artist, keynote speaker, workshop leader, and instructor, Roth have earned top honors at premier songwriter competitions – Kerrville (TX) and Falcon Ridge (NY) – and taken his music, experience, and expertise to a wide variety of venues in this and other countries full-time for three decades.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg was founded in 1915, and the beautiful sanctuary on
Mirror Lake was built in 1929. As a congregation in the Unitarian Universalist tradition, the church does not have a creed or required set of beliefs. Instead, members agree to act with reverence toward all things as best as they understand, to enhance the well-being of one another and our widening circles of community. UUSP welcomes and seeks a community with all people equally, regardless of beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, orientation, politics, or background. We become companions for our journeys in our Sunday service gatherings and for small-group discussions, life sharing, social activities, children’s religious education, and social justice efforts.
