Mark Your Calendars for Upcoming Social Justice Fall Events

A series of interactive educational and inspirational programs followed by discussion and social hour.s: 

  • 10/11/22  Exhibition “Black Pioneers: Legacy in the American West.” at the James Museum. A private docent tour for UUSP will reveal the hidden stories of these risk-taking pioneers through award-winning, highly curated colorful quilts by Women of Color Quilters. Stepping inside this historical time, you’ll experience a legacy of a rich diversity of lives, occupations, and achievements. 3:30 pm. $10 admission and $5 docent fee if you are not a museum member. James members pay a $5 docent fee. Fees are collected at the museum front desk. The group size is not limited since we can get a couple of docents — but please rsvp by October 9th. The social gathering in James Canyon Cafe (or nearby) follows the tour.

  • 11/16/22  Racism is a Public Health Issue in St Petersburg
