It was bone-chilling cold Christmas Day but the Friday Night Picnic Crew served a warm, sit-down (with option to-go) real Christmas meal, which was so abundant in quantity that it supplied the Saturday Breakfast and Sunday Dinner at Praise the Lord Outreach Ministries, and will contribute to the planned turkey tetrazzini this weekend.
And as Courtney Allen said ‘We live in a City which provides cold night shelters and transportation to get there.’ It’s not perfect but we are part of a larger community that is compassionate and that mobilizes for humanity.
