Cheers to you as we enter Florida’s autumn, with high winds natural and political. This week we are in Judaism’s High Holy Days – the start of the new year announced with the blowing of the ram’s horn, perhaps signaling this year’s windy times. The Holy Days call the community and its members to reflect on the past year, assess their effect on Life, and judge whether Life would want these ways to continue.
Maybe we each could sit a few moments this week and make note of how we and our circles of community have effected Life on Earth this year. Maybe we can share our assessments, to better understand the ways that work for good and the ways that don’t. Perhaps we can take those lessons to the ballot box and beyond.
Have a wonderful week,
