RE Corner

Religious Education Sunday, November 19, 2017
Nursery age care is provided in Conway Hall beginning at 10:15am. Youth and Children will begin in the service and then proceed to their classrooms. Children in grades K-3 will meet in their room with Trish and Joe. Children in grades 4-6 will meet with Linda and Melissa. Youth will meet for a discussion with Rev. Karen Day in the youth room.

 

RE Volunteers
If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom with our wonderful children and youth, please contact Melissa Allen (melissa.m.allen@me.com).

  • RE Instructor for Youth (3-4 Sundays per month)

Job Posting: Part-Time Interfaith Instructor for Youth

The Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg is seeking a part-time instructor for our Religious Education program for youth (middle and high school age students). The instructor will lead Sunday religious education classes using sessions from a provided curriculum. Sample youth-oriented curricula include:

The successful applicant will be able to make a strong connection with youth; have excellent presentation skills and creativity; demonstrate an understanding of non-creedal religious instruction; and be able to draw from a variety of faith- and science-based traditions.

Pay rate is $50 per class for three or four Sunday classes per month.
