UU St. Pete InfoNet: May 18, 2018

This Sunday's Worship Services

Sunday, May 20, 2018: "Journeys Series"
Time: 10:30am
Worship Leader: Susan Burnore

Worship Associate: Paul Craig

This popular series of worship services continues with speakers Andy Bragg and Kelli DeGraw this Sunday, May 20.  Members present brief answers to the question, “How did you come to be here at UU St Pete today?”   Their answers always help us get to know them better, and, often, hearing other people’s stories gives us all some new wisdom and hope.

As a special treat, Nic Filzen will be singing My Corner of the Sky, from Pippin.

California, Here They Come!

California, Here They Come!

Our much-loved music director Nic Filzen and much-loved Communications Coordinator Janeya Filzen are moving to California where Nic will intern as a UU minister.  The choir is sponsoring a California-themed Pot Luck Lunch on Sunday, May 27, to send them on their way with full tummies.

It would be nice to give them a little more than full tummies as they head west.  If you would like to contribute something, please place your cash or check (payable to Nic or Janeya Filzen) in the container labeled "California or Bust" on the piano in Gilmour Hall.  The container will be out, along with a card for everyone to sign, on May 13, 20 and 27.

Please bring your pot luck dish to Gilmour before church on May 27.  You can send Anne Hall (annehall@aol.com) a quick email or reach out to her at church, letting her know what you would like to bring or if you have questions.

Come join the fun and say "Happy Trails" to Nic and Janeya!

Sunday Flowers

We would like to remind everyone that we need more folks to step up and agree to bring flowers on Sundays.  Just stop by the Sunday Flowers table during coffee hour after service (usually at the piano in Gilmour) and pick a date that works for you to maybe commemorate a birthday, anniversary, special event, in memory of, etc...

Reach out to Jim Fitzgerald if you have questions or to sign up.  We love seeing the flowers each week.

Thank you!
