BOOKS TO GO FREE!  In the UUSP Reading Room (just off UUSP’s Gilmour Social Hall) are a couple of hundred books on the three standing bookshelves.  We are clearing the shelves to make room for books about Unitarianism, Universalism, and UUism, and books about and by those who have inspired or been inspired by our tradition.  Do your part for free speech - please take any of the books you would like, for free!  (P.S.  The bookshelves at the end of Gilmour Hall will now be our single UUSP Book Exchange focal point.   Pastor Jack

UU ST. PETE COVENANT GROUPS meet monthly (or more often if the group prefers) to deepen acquaintance with and appreciation of one another and of life.  A covenant group consists of 7-12 people and is facilitated by a group leader.  The meetings include opportunity for a personal check-in, plus discussion of a more general question of life – and are a great opportunity to get to know and be known.  The gatherings are held wherever the group chooses – often at a member’s home or at the church.   Currently UUSP has seven covenant groups.  If a group grows beyond 12 people, it usually chooses to seed a new group.

 INTERESTED?  Current meeting times are:

3rd Mondays (6:30-8:00pm);

3rd Mondays (7-8:30pm);

4th Tuesdays (7-8:30pm);

2nd Thursdays (4-5:30pm);

1st Saturdays (11-1:00pm for RE parents/childcare provided);

1st Sundays (7-8:30pm);

Every Wednesday (2-3:30pm) - for snowbirds, starting in January.

The 6:30pm Monday and 7pm Tuesday groups are new start-up groups and would particularly appreciate new members.  If interested, please contact Pastor Jack (jfdonovan@bellsouth.net).
