January 7th is Food Collection Sunday

During Sunday's service our youngest members will collect food during the for one of our refugee families. Twizere, his wife Mariam, her mother Elizabeth and three children Jibu, Sifa and Tarek are Congolese. They arrived in the US in mid December, 2015 from a refugee camp in Uganda. They have made incredible advances with their language and adjustments to a totally different culture but can still use a helping hand. Since they have a more traditional diet, donations of rice, dried beans, yams, potatoes, oranges and cabbage are suggested as are soaps and cleaning products. Thank you!
