UUSP Needs and Priorities: Requesting Your Input

It’s no surprise that UUSP, like most churches, has a variety of needs to address, including programmatic, administrative, and physical site needs.  Committee heads have already begun this process by sending the Board their lists of needs and priorities. But we also need as much congregational input - YOUR INPUT - as possible.

This is important for these reasons:

  • To make certain we identify and address the most urgent needs first, then the others over the next few years, as our budget allows.
  • To provide early planning for the Board for the 2018-19 budget.
  • To inform and dovetail with the UUSP 3-Year Plan and Vision, which is beginning now.

We’ve designed an easy form for you to use. You can get a paper copy form on Sunday in the Sunday Bulletin, or you can go online to our UU St Pete Google Group (as you did during our parking lot conversation) and fill out the form there. Just click on this link to go to the Google site: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/uu-st-pete-discussions

These are the three questions to consider:

  1. What needs can you identify that would benefit the church, its programs, or its members.
  2. What are your priorities for these needs?
  3. Can you estimate any costs required to address these needs?

Thanks for participating in UUSP’s planning process!
